Strand – Driving Moccasins

A driving moccasin is the shoe for the hours when nothing much is happening: a long drive, a slow lunch, a walk along a quay.

This one is a low slip-on in a synthetic suede-look material, with a penny strap across the top, raised stitching around the toe and a thin, low sole. It comes in black, brown, navy, blue and red.

Synthetic will not pass for calf suede up close. It does wipe clean with a damp cloth, which real suede does not.

Bare ankles and white trousers, on the drive down to the coast for lunch.
